I notice thru your label that you are using Canon450D,ganon din ang unit ko,but i have to ask ,how do you take photos like these?you know with the blurry background,anong setting ang gawa mo, sorry ha, newbie lang ako sa paggamit ng DSLR,it’s my first unit actually.

Hi Willa! You can achieve the blurry background if you use a lens that has a bigger aperture. First, set your mode dial to Aperture priority (Av) and check the smallest value of “F” at the upper right corner of the LCD. The smaller the value the blurry the background you will get. You can check its depth-of-field by holding the depth-of-field preview button located at the bottom of Lens released button while viewing at the view finder.
For my shot, I used lens EF 50mm f1.8 and set my Av to f1.8.
