My camera was just newly bought that time and I was so amazed with its outcome. The shot of Canon S3iS is so sharp. This photo was actually a trial shot. I don’t have a unique subject that time. I just went outside the house and this purple leaves had attracted me. And at least I had captured it well.

This purple with the rain drops is so beautiful.
The other small flower that close in the evening is called Japanese Rose. I used to grow them in Singapore. I miss them here in New Zealand.
You were very clever to make even mosquito larvea an interesting photo.
