Calumbuyan Island in Busuanga, Palawan is considered as one of the popular tourist attraction of the Busuanga municipality. It offers the most beautiful coral reefs from soft coral types to hard ones and abundant marine life and long white beaches that attract the tourist to go swimming. When we got there, it’s only 10:00 A.M. so we have enough time to relax and feel the breeze while lying on the hammock at Calumbuyan Island. By noon, we had the sumptuous lunch of seafood under the trees with our tour group composed of German, French and other Filipinos. Then after two hours of swimming and snorkeling, we proceeded to the beautiful Coral Garden at Lusong Gunboat at Coron Island. For those who want to complete this exciting experience, you should bring your underwater camera.

How much did it cost you to get to this island? I get conflicting answers from the boatmen on how long it takes to get to one island or another. Sometimes they insist on closer ones when kaya naman ang masmalayo.

We spent 1 day for this trip. We started at around 9:00 AM of going to Calumbuyan Island. Then by 2:00 PM we left the place and proceeded to Lusong Wreck Gunboat, Coron Island. Calumbuyan Island is a bit far from others because its located in Busuanga. Before the end of the day there is a picture perfect sunset awaiting as you cruise back to Coron Town. And if Im not mistaken the cost per pax is 990.00. It includes Picnic Lunch with Fruit & Complimentary Drink.
