Hibiscus is a lovely annual flower with beautiful red flowers, commonly grown in flower gardens or indoor pots.

The flowers are not just for scenic pleasure, but have amazing flavoring qualities. In Africa, Karkade is the name given to a delicious hibiscus punch. It is also a great contribution to the popular rosehip tea giving it a lemony flavor and lovely red color.

This yellow flower is another beautiful variety of Hibiscus Flower commonly found in many gardens in the Philippines. This Gumamela will surely attracts butterflies and bees. I used to plant this Hibiscus in our garden and they are easily grown here in our tropical country.

These flowering shrubs was located at the center part of our garden. My mother was the one who planted these plants and we are thankful to her. I don’t know the specific name of other bushes like the green leafy plant with white border. But the flowering plants are very common to our place. These violet and red flowers are bougainvillea.
